Cooperating Babies!

Today, at 7:30am (that's too early for me right now...) we had a follow up ultrasound for Baby A. 12 days ago this little squirt was not cooperating - so back in we had to go to insure all was well. And...everything is just great!

Both hearts have 4 chambers, the cerebelum is developed in both, they have a full lip, all limbs are accounted for and they are moving and grooving like they should be. Just amazing. What little miracles. I still cannot believe that is what's going on inside me!

I've included some ultrasound pictures for your viewing pleasure - we've done our best to capture them with a photo (our scanner is not working at the moment) so it might be a little hard to see. I think baby B looks like me (the nose) and I think Baby A looks like Karl (the nose)...I know, I know it's impossible to tell.

We're feeling great - tired, but great! Life is good...we're blessed!
Until next time...

First Time For Everything

So...it's Kristin here. I've been thinking about starting a blog for a few months now...and we really do have reason to have one! Facebook, email - yes they all work fine, but there's just something about a blog that's a step cooler. We'll see how it goes. It will only be cool if we update it...which we'll have plenty of things to update in due time.

Just to catch everyone up to speed - we're living in Rochester, MN. We're saving for our very own abode, which we're extremely excited for - so in the meantime Karl's parents have graciously welcomed us into their home! In March we found out we were pregnant (yeah, baby #1) and then 6 weeks later we found out we were having twins! It's incredible, we couldn't be happier. (I say that now...they are still cooking!) We are expecting them anytime from late November to Mid-December 2009

Karl works for/with his Father doing very smart stuff down in the batcave...and I'm still loving life at the Gap. Baxter is our 2 year old Beagle - and he's quite honestly the joy of our lives. Who would have thought a little puppy could bring so much happiness??!

So, my intentions with this blog are: 1) to update everyone with weekly happenings with the babies. 2) to allow you all to have a peek into our lives as we enter the most exciting, demanding, sleep deprived stage of our life. And, 3) to share all the photos of their milestones once they arrive!

That's it for now...will talk again soon.
